# How to update your organization details

Organization settings control the name and logo used across the platform, as well as the preference for receiving news, tips, and promotions.

## Where to find it

On desktop, open your organization menu in the sidebar and select **Gerenciar membros**. On the **Membros** page, open the organization settings. If you are already in settings, open the **Organização** page.

You can view this information as an organization member. To change it, you must be the **Proprietário**.

## Change the name and logo

In the **Identidade** section, update **Nome da organização**. The **Slug** field is generated automatically from the name and cannot be edited separately.

To change the organization image, use **Logo da organização**. After checking the details, select **Salvar alterações**.

The name must contain at least three characters. If another organization already uses the identifier generated from that name, choose a different name and try again.

## Choose whether to receive marketing emails

In **Preferências**, use **Receber emails de marketing** to decide whether the organization receives news, tips, and promotions. Select **Salvar alterações** to confirm the change.

## If there is no option to save

When you are not the **Proprietário**, the information is view-only. Ask the organization owner to make the change or confirm which organization is active before trying again.
