Audience breakdowns show the contexts in which viewing occurred, such as device type, browser, operating system, country, and traffic origin when available.

Open **Insights**, select the organization or video scope and date range, then open the audience breakdown.

Use these views to:

test important pages on the most common devices and browsers;

identify whether a playback complaint is concentrated in one environment;

adapt captions, layout, and page experience to mobile-heavy audiences;

compare campaign geography with the intended market;

recognize traffic origins that deserve their own analysis.

Always consider sample size and period. A category with few views can change sharply without representing a lasting pattern. Location is approximate and should not be treated as a viewer’s exact address.

Combine this context with retention and export detailed reports when you need an external comparison.
