# How to upload your first video to Moviie

## Most direct upload from the home screen

When the library is empty, you can drag a video from a folder or the desktop and drop it into **Arraste seu vídeo aqui**, without clicking a button.

On touch devices, tap **Arraste seu vídeo aqui** and choose the file.

## Upload through the upload window

At the top of the panel, select **Enviar vídeo**.

In the **Enviar Vídeo** window, choose **Enviar arquivo** for a video saved on the computer.

Before selecting the file, you can choose, create, or manage the destination collection.

In the **Arraste seu vídeo ou clique para selecionar** area, drag one or more files from the computer or choose the files through the file picker.

The **Arraste seu vídeo ou clique para selecionar** area indicates support for MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM.

## Follow the upload until the video is ready

After the upload starts, the **Transferindo vídeos** box tracks each file with the states **Enviando...**, **Processando...**, and **Pronto!**.

While the state is **Enviando...**, the Moviie tab must remain open for the local file.

When the state is **Processando...**, you can continue using other areas of Moviie in the same tab.

When the item shows **Pronto!**, select it to open the video page.
