# Change a video cover

> Choose a frame from the video or upload an image to use as its cover before sharing the content.

The cover is the image shown before playback and in video previews. You can choose an image suggested by Moviie or upload your own.

## Where to find it

In the main menu, open **Vídeos** and select the video you want. In the editor, choose **Geral** from the side navigation and scroll to **Capa do Vídeo**. On smaller screens, select **Abrir menu**, choose **Geral**, and scroll to that section.

## Choose a frame from the video

Under **Capa do Vídeo**, keep the **Escolher do Vídeo** tab open. Select the image that best represents the content from the options shown. Moviie confirms when the new cover is set.

Use this option when a frame from the video already explains the subject well, such as a presentation screen, a product, or the person appearing in the content.

## Upload a cover image

Under **Capa do Vídeo**, select **Enviar Imagem**.

Drag an image into the upload area or choose the file on your device.

Review the preview and select **Fazer Upload**.

The upload field accepts images up to 5 MB. Choose an image with the same aspect ratio as the video to avoid unexpected cropping, especially for vertical videos.

## Check before sharing

After confirmation, the **Capa Atual** section shows the image in use. Open the page or embed where the video will appear and refresh it to check the preview your audience will receive.
