# Edit a video title and description

The title and description help your audience recognize the content and make the video easier to find in the library. You can update them at any time.

## Where to find it

In the main menu, open **Vídeos** and choose the video you want to adjust. On the video page, select **Geral** in the side navigation. On smaller screens, open **Abrir menu** to show the navigation, then choose **Geral**.

## Change the video information

In **Identidade do vídeo**:

Edit **Título**. A title is required and can have up to 255 characters.

Write or update **Descrição** to explain the content and why it is worth watching.

If you use your own identifier in another system, fill in **ID de referência**. It must be unique within your organization.

Select **Salvar alterações** when the save bar appears.

After saving, the new title also appears at the top of Studio and in the library.

## Choose a title that is easy to find

Prefer a title that communicates the topic, audience, or version of the content. For example, include the course, module, or campaign name instead of keeping only a technical file name.

If you change your mind before saving, discard the changes in the save bar to return to the previous information.
