# How to configure playback controls for a video

Controls determine what viewers see and how a video starts playing. You can adjust one video without changing the other videos in the organization.

## Find the controls

Open the video you want to configure. On desktop, in the Studio's left sidebar, under **Vídeo**, select **Controles**. On mobile, swipe the horizontal tab bar until you find **Controles**.

## Choose the visible controls

Under **Controles visíveis**, turn on or off the items that should be available in the player. The page tells you whether the video is using the organization default or its own configuration.

You can also adjust playback behavior in this area:

**Carregamento Inteligente** prepares the video before a viewer presses play.

**Chromecast** lets viewers watch on a compatible TV.

**AirPlay** lets viewers stream to Apple devices.

**Loop** restarts the video when it ends.

**Lembrar Posição** lets viewers continue where they stopped.

**Autoplay** starts playback when the page loads.

**Mudo** starts the video without sound.

**Velocidade** makes the speed control available to viewers.

**Busca no Vídeo** lets viewers search for a word and jump to where it is spoken.

Choose only the options that suit the content. For example, for a long class, **Lembrar Posição** and **Velocidade** can help the audience resume and review the material.

## Set the speed and starting point

In **Velocidade inicial**, choose the speed at which the video starts. In **Velocidades disponíveis**, select the options viewers can choose while watching. If the video has its own selection, use **Voltar a herdar da organização** to return to the organization default.

In **Tempo Inicial (segundos)**, enter the point from which the video should start. Use `0` to start at the beginning. This is useful when you want to share a specific excerpt without editing the original file.

## Save or undo the adjustments

After making changes, select **Salvar alterações**. The **Controles atualizados com sucesso!** confirmation indicates the player has received the new configuration.

To remove this video's own settings and return to the organization default, select **Resetar**. Before publishing or embedding the video, open the player and make sure the selected controls make sense for your viewers.
