# What to do when a video does not play on your site

When a video does not play on your site, the player shows a short sentence over the video's picture. It is written for the person watching, so it does not name settings. Use the sentence to find the fix below. The player speaks Portuguese, so the sentences are quoted as viewers see them.

## If “Este vídeo não está disponível neste site.” appears

The site is on the **Lista de bloqueio** (blocklist), or it is not among the **Domínios permitidos** (allowed domains).

In **Padrões › Segurança**, enter the domain in **Domínios permitidos**.

Select **Adicionar**.

The **Domínios permitidos** list controls which sites can embed videos. If it is empty, all sites are allowed except those on the **Lista de bloqueio**.

The **Lista de bloqueio** takes priority over allowed domains.

Moviie confirms when the settings are updated.

## If the browser shows an error instead of the player

When you have **Domínios permitidos** set, a site outside the list may not open the player at all: the browser itself refuses the video and shows its own error. The fix is the same as above: allow the domain.

If the site is already allowed and the error persists, the page is probably shown inside another site, such as a page builder's preview or a members area that displays your site within it. In that case, also allow that other site's domain.

## If “Este vídeo pode ser assistido na página onde foi publicado.” appears

**Bloquear acesso direto via URL** is enabled, and the video was opened outside a page that embeds it.

In this case:

test playback on the page where the video was embedded;

disable this option only if you want to allow the direct URL.

This protection is independent of the domain lists.

## If “Este vídeo não está disponível no momento.” appears

Playback is suspended. The most common reasons are an inactive subscription, the video being switched off in the dashboard, or the trial's bandwidth limit. Check your plan in **Conta › Faturamento** and the video's status in the dashboard.

## If “Este vídeo ainda está sendo preparado.” appears

The video is still processing. Once processing finishes, reload the page and it plays normally.

## If “Não foi possível carregar o vídeo.” appears

Select **Tentar de novo**. If the sentence comes back, try again later.
