How to generate an Express Version of your video
Create a condensed version of your video with AI and choose whether it appears in the player or is saved as a new video in the library.
An Express Version is a shorter cut made from segments of your own video. It helps viewers understand the key points before deciding whether to watch the full content.
Where to find it
Open the video you want to edit. On desktop, use the left sidebar and select Vídeo resumo under Vídeos de IA. On mobile, scroll the tab bar until you find Vídeo resumo.
Generate the Express Version
In the Vídeo Resumo area, select Gerar Versão Express. Before it starts, Moviie shows a confirmation with the credit cost.
The video must be processed and have a completed transcript. If it is not ready yet, wait and try again. Very short videos cannot generate an Express Version either.
After confirmation, the status changes to Gerando a Versão Express…. You can leave the page while it is generated and check the result in the same tab later.
Show the recap to viewers
When the Express Version is ready, turn on Disponibilizar no player. Viewers will see the Versão Express button and can switch between the condensed cut and the full video.
If you only want to offer the short cut, also turn on Mostrar apenas a Versão Express. In this mode, viewers are not offered the full video.
To change the segments that were chosen, generate a new Express Version. The previous version can be replaced by the new result.
Save it as another video in the library
You can also create an independent short copy. In Salvar como vídeo novo na biblioteca, select Configurar, choose the Collection de destino, and click Gerar na biblioteca.
This creates the Express Version as a new video in the selected collection instead of showing it as an alternative inside the original video player.
Before you publish
Use an Express Version as a preview for longer content. Watch the result and check that it keeps the main idea of the video before making it available in the player or library.
