Allow Picture-in-Picture for a video
Show the Picture-in-Picture control so viewers can keep watching in a floating window when their device supports it.
Picture-in-Picture lets a viewer keep watching a video in a small floating window while navigating. Its final availability depends on the viewer’s browser and device.
Where to find it
Open the video in your library and select Controles in the Vídeo edit-navigation group. On desktop, the navigation is on the left. On mobile, slide the horizontal tabs until you reach Controles.
Show the control in the player
Under Controles visíveis, find Picture-in-Picture and turn it on. The option explains that it lets viewers watch in a floating window while they navigate. When finished, go to the bottom of the page and select Salvar alterações.
Check the viewer experience
Reload the video’s public page or embed. In compatible browsers and devices, viewers can use the Picture-in-Picture control in the player. If it is unavailable in a viewer’s environment, the video still plays normally on the page.
Choose it intentionally
This feature can help with classes, tutorials, and long content when viewers need to switch between the video and another task. For content that requires full attention, consider whether a floating window fits the experience you want to offer.
