How to enable Video Search

Let viewers search for a word in your video and jump to the moment when it is mentioned.

Updated on July 30, 20262 min read

Busca no Vídeo lets a viewer type a word and go directly to the moment when it is spoken. It is useful for lessons, training, and long-form content where someone needs to find a specific subject again.

Where to find it

Open the video you want to configure. In the desktop left sidebar, select Controles under Vídeo. On mobile, scroll the tab bar to Controles.

Scroll through the player options and find Busca no Vídeo.

Turn on the switch next to Busca no Vídeo. The setting is saved in the video editor.

For search to find spoken words, the video must have an available transcript. If the transcript is not ready yet, wait for processing and test search again later.

How viewers use it

With search enabled, viewers can look up a term in the player and select a result to jump to the matching excerpt. This avoids manually scanning a long video to locate an explanation, a name, or a step.

When it is useful

Enable Video Search for reference material, recorded lessons, demonstrations, and training. In very short videos, chapters or a clear description may be enough; in longer content, search shortens the path to the information a viewer needs.
