How to enable and configure DRM Social on a video

Enable a dynamic viewer-data mark, create reusable definitions, and choose an organization or per-video default.

Updated on July 30, 20261 min read

DRM Social marks a video with data from the person watching to discourage recording and leaks. When it is enabled, the dynamic mark appears during playback.

Enable DRM Social on a video

In the video editor, open Segurança and turn on Ativar DRM Social. In Definição de DRM Social, choose Padrão da organização to use the default definition, or select a specific definition.

A specific definition overrides the default for that video only. To create or organize definitions, select Gerenciar DRM Social.

Create a reusable definition

In the DRM Social area, select Nova definição. You can adjust the mark’s name, font, colors, and animation speed, and check its player preview before saving.

Use Definir como padrão to make a definition the organization default. It will be used by videos with DRM Social enabled, except for videos with another selected definition.

Choose the protection level

At the Padrão level, the mark is drawn in the viewer’s browser. At the Premium level, the data is recorded in the video itself.

The Premium level requires support to activate it for the selected definition.
