How to analyze a video’s performance

See impressions, plays, completion, CTA clicks, and retention for one video.

Data for one video helps you understand what happens after its player is published: how many people find it, start playback, reach the end, and click a CTA.

Where to find it

Open the video in your library. On the editing page, select Analytics in Distribuição & dados. Use the period selector in the upper-right corner to choose Últimos 7 dias, Últimos 30 dias, or Últimos 90 dias.

Check the key metrics

At the top of Analytics do Vídeo, you will find:

  • Impressões: how many times the player was loaded, including unique impressions.
  • Plays: how many playbacks started, including unique plays.
  • Play Rate: the share of impressions that became a play.
  • Conclusão: the percentage of plays that reached the end of the video.
  • Cliques no CTA: clicks on the video’s action buttons, including unique clicks.

Start by comparing impressions, plays, and Play Rate. Then use completion and retention to assess whether the content holds the interest of people who pressed play.

Read video retention

In Retenção do Vídeo, the chart shows how the audience remains engaged throughout the content. Use the drop-off points to locate sections worth reviewing in the script, edit, or way an offer is introduced.

Check CTA clicks

When the video has CTAs with recorded clicks, Cliques no CTA shows those results. Compare clicks with plays and retention moments before changing a button’s position or message.

Data appears after the player is published and starts receiving views. At times, the page may say that data for the period is still processing; wait a few minutes and refresh your analysis.
